Veldin is the planet where Ratchet lives until he meets Clank. The duo soon begins their duties as heroes of the galaxy, saving it from a new threat seemingly every year.

[edit] Ratchet and Clank (1st Visit)

At the beginning of the game, Clank crash lands on the planet after escaping from a robot creation facility. Ratchet is giving his ship some repairs, and goes to investigate the crash landing of a ship after he sees it crash. After finding Clank, the pair team up to find out what is going on in the galaxy, and soon realise that they are going to have to get acquainted and learn to trust each other very quick, because the safety of the galaxy depends on it.

OBJECTIVES:

1. Acquire Shock Blaster from Galatic Rangers

2. Proceed through area and blast enemies

3. Acquire Nitro Launcher from Glalatic Rangers

4. Take out the Thyrranoid Attack Ship

5. Meet up with Galatic Rangers at Dropship

OBJECTIVES:

1. Free-fall into battle

2. Eliminate cell of Tyhrranoids in Sector F

3. Receive transmission from the President

• During certain levels, such as the free falling one, a radar will appear. Use it to your advantage.
• Mission 1 is the perfect way to learn strafing
• Bolt Bonus - Mission 1 - The for large tanks with the connecting hoses situated around the center of this area can be busted for a few extra bolts.
• Gadgetron Ammo Crate - a crate full of replacement ammo
• Crates - smash these for bolts
• Nanotech - These boxes will heal your health

[edit] Ratchet and Clank (2nd Visit)

At the end of the game, Ratchet and Clank return to the planet to stop Drek from destroying the planet (his final objective). They need to act quick and use all of their skills to take him down and save the universe from his evil plan of destruction.
