Along with your trusty wrench, there is 10 weapons that Ratchet is able to use. Here you will be able to see what they are with detailed descriptions and images.
Arbiter
Name: Arbiter Price: N/A Ammo: 8 Ammo Cost: N/A Upgrades To: Silencer
The Arbiter is a powerful Rocket Launcher that will create deadly effects and destructive consequences.
Name: Mine Launcher Price: N/A Ammo: 12 Ammo Cost: N/A Upgrades To: Stalker Mine Launcher
The Mine Launcher is similar to the Mine Gloves from the previous games, except you fire these mines from a gun. Launch a mine or two, and they will home onto a nearby enemy or two.
Name: Miniturret Gun
Upgrades To: Quasar Turret Launcher
The Miniturret makes its return to the series, being fired from a gun this time around instead of being thrown from a glove. It is much more realistic, now that its power has been greatly toned down. Toss out a few turrets and watch them take out your enemies for you.
Note: Having the Freeze Mod on this weapon greatly helps. It will freeze enemies for you so they cannot run away, allowing your turrets to destroy them easily.
Name: Scorpion Flail Price: N/A Ammo: 30 Ammo Cost: N/A Upgrades To: Leviathan Flail
A Flail similar to the Plasma Whip in Up Your Arsenal, but much more destructive. Equip it and start smashing up the screen (it works similar to the wrench). Very destructive, especially around groups of enemies.
Name: Shield Launcher
Ammo: 10
Upgrades To: Omni-Shield Launcher
A shield weapon makes its awaited arrival into the game. It is similar to the shield launching weapon of UYA, but the kinks of it have been worked out. Depending on what level it is, it will stay out for a specific amount of time, protecting you from any blasts that come at you from ahead. Helpful shield, especially when you need to change weapons or are in heavy fire.
Replacing the RYNO as the series' super weapon is The Harbringer. It is said to be more destructive than the RYNO ever was. You can own one for only 2.5 million bolts! Once purchased, you can use it to take out large groups of enemies, or just some really powerful enemies. It starts with 5 ammo, and as it upgrades you get some more ammo. When you feel like some destruction, blast a shot and watch destruction rain down from the sky!
Once again the Wrench has made it's way into Ratchet's arsenal. Throughout the game, various Wrench upgrades will appear to be purchased at your local vendor.
