   SPACE BATTLE

Many different things were added to the series in this game. One of them was Space Battles. In these battles, you do various tasks in your ship using your weapons and skill.

Your first look at the space battles occurs in the Feltzen System. As part of the story, you have to destroy the Thugs-4-Less ships and disrupt their rendezvous. You are taken into the system with your ship and have to fly around until all the red blips appear on the map. These are all the ships you need to destroy. This is done by using your ships weapons to shoot them down.

After you complete this mission, you are able to do the other 3 missions when you unlock them by beating the missions prior to them. The 4 battles in this area consist of:

* Defeat the Thug Ships (must beat to progress story)
* Destroy 30 Space Wasps in 2 Minutes
* Fight the Ace Thug ships
* Race Through the Asteroids



The next area where you fight in space battles occurs at the Deep Space Disposal facility. Your password to the facility has strangely failed, and now the facilities defence system is attacking you. You must destroy it before it destroys you, and after that the story will progress.

After you complete this mission, you are able to do the other 3 missions when you unlock them by beating the missions prior to them. The 4 battles in this area consist of:

* Disable Disposal Facility's Defences (must beat to progress story)
* Take out the Saboteurs
* Destroy the Berserk Repair Drones
* Race Through the Disposal Facility



The last area where you take part in space battles occurs on planet Gorn. Angela was captured by a ship in the Thugs-4-Less fleet on this planet. Your job is to defeat the fleet and find out where she has been taken.

After you complete this mission, you are able to do the other 3 missions when you unlock them by beating the missions prior to them. The 4 battles in this area consist of:

* Defeat the Thug Fleet (must beat to progress story)
* Fight the Bandits
* Defeat the Ghost Ship
* Race Through the Docking Bays
